Goan Dogs – Zombies

Everyday you hit snooze 5 times and drag yourself to work. 9 AM is too early for the night owls. There you watch the clock until it struck 5 to go back home. You need to be part of something that makes you proud. Can you please describe your colleagues in 3 words? Let me guess. Boring, boring, boring.

Do you remember that classic Beatles song?

Everybody seems to think I’m lazy, I don’t mind, I think they’re crazy.

John Lennon / Paul Mccartney

Goan Dogs come from Bristol. How could someone explain the disproportionately big music scene of this place compared to similar size cities? Goan Dogs’ new single “Zombies” explores the 9 til 5 routine. Using exceptional guitar patterns, vocals that feel more like back vocals and an addictive chord progression, they create an instant anthem. Imagine the festival feeling of Foster The People, mixed with early Kasabian in a song that shares the same amount of love for guitars as Mac DeMarco. Credit for the videoclip goes to illustrator and animator ‘Client_Pleaser1987’. Coincidentally is the guitarist in the band. Listen below.
