Soul in Orbit is a melting pot of hedonistic keys licks, with a jazzy touch and a nicely complex arrangement. In the centre of attention are some sophisticated quirky grooves which sound as organic as it gets. A gentle, electronic composition with experimental elements, probably best heard on a good pair of headphones that’ll reveal all of its cinematic, collage-like textures. Soul in Orbit is the last offering from Denver based beatmaker Muta and it is part of the album Make Shapes that is already out.
