Tamara Bubble -Standing Here United

Brooklyn rapper Tamara Bubble spits fire during her new song ‘Standing Here United’, written in solidarity with the #BlackLivesMatter (BLM) and inspired by the killing of Breonna Taylor in particular. It sounds more like a rap battle than a simple song to be fair. This is a different kind of battle though, where instead of a fellow rapper, Tamara has beef with police brutality and dangerous politicians who threaten democracy (hint: orange hair). She has her own – really fierce – style and flow but something there reminds us of Lady Leshuur – which is not a bad thing at all. The song’s instrumental (produced by soulplusmind) seems as if Liam Howlett could have been involved in the collaboration and we are amazed on how the beat has a great variety which avoids repetition, something that is quite unusual for a rap production.

Our favorite rapper might be a girl after all!
