“Drop of Water” is the debut cut by Moonfish, an electronic jazz piece of art. The London based duo, which consists of  Maria Chiara Argirò and Riccardo Chiaberta, combines piano, synths, bass synth and drums offering a rich, hypnotic soundscape that involves several layers. With a clear focus on the lines played by the keys, and an aesthetic that captures the “less is more” approach, Moonfish are showcasing their ability to compose unconventional monophonic melodies without introducing unnecessary virtuoso playing or complex motifs. Their sound relates utterly with the lively jazz music scene of London, a city that for many is the world’s music capital.
