FLOCKS – fashion camp [Review]

Cincinnati/Chicago based three piece band FLOCKS return with fashion camp, the first single from their forthcoming album. On paper their music can be described as Jazz with a modern twist, incorporating a plethora of carefully designed electronic elements. However their style flirts with numerous tags from nu Jazz to progressive/math rock. Improvisations are a vital part of their composition technique but this does not mean that their music lacks engaging main themes. FLOCKS are here to challenge the listener. And they do it in a majestic way. There is some bad news (as always) for the band though. fashion camp sets the standards for the upcoming album very high. Enjoy below!

You can read more about them in our recent interview here.
