Mirror Tree – 300 Miles [Review]

A journey through time and space! It starts today from the deserts of Southwest USA. Get in the car, preferably an old one with a factory-installed cassette player. Hit play. Destination: Some centuries ago in Mesopotamia.

300 miles by Mirror Tree is an upbeat production that has strong psychedelic influences. It’s solid spacey sound is filled with warm dub influenced reverbs and long tape echoes. The element that draws listener’s attention is undeniably the lovely stringed riff that uses non-Western scales adding a strong exotic flavor and originality. 300 miles does exactly what the title suggests. Makes you travel in faraway places.  Totally recommended!
