Kaleida – Feed Us Some [Review]

‘Feed Us Some’ is Kaleida’s third single from the forthcoming album ‘Odyssey’, due for release on August 28th!

If you ask me, this is a song to listen when you’re high (well, not only then of course) and I mean this in the best way possible. It has an obsessive and rhythmic sound that makes you wanna dance in the middle of the room until you get dizzy. It’s very moist outside, I feel a foggy night is on its way but who cares when your speakers offer you a such infectious piano riff that seems as if its taken from a composition by the American House dj Paul Johnson?

As for the clip it’s cool. OK, I’ll admit that I’m not a huge fan of hipster-ish, retro design video clips anymore but it undoubtedly fits nicely with the track. I do love the fact that it’s shot in both London and Florida though, mainly because I find it particularly difficult to blend different atmospheres nicely and in this respect, this virtual, moving collage is a success!

Agh, I don’t know. I feel like I know this song and yet I don’t have a clear picture of what is it that I’m reminded of. It’s just familiar. Familiar and the third time I’m hitting ‘play’. I’m gonna stand up now, get away from the laptop… got some rounds to dance in the room.
