- Please introduce yourself
Hi im felix and im officially in love with synthesizers. I started making electronic music at the age of 16 in FL-Studio (digital work station). Over the years i learned alot about synthesizer sounddesign and composing in gerneral. Now im 23 and i really love what im doing and so i decided to start uploading my songs as ‘’add pattern’’.
- Describe your sound in 3 words
dreamy, experimental, raw
- Most electronic producers nowadays focus on sound design. You on the other hand have distinctive melodies and non generic chord progressions. Can you tell us more about your creative process?
I would describe finding chords like playing a game. I honestly never learned music theory or playing piano at all. But mostly every new song i start i do start with building chords. It is so satisfying to me beeing able to create a variety of emotions with simply swapping 3 notes up or down. I just try to listen very carefully and act out of intuition.
- If you had to choose one Synthesizer (analog or digital) which one would it be?
For sure digital. I like the flexibility and the workflow speed. Without downgrading analog synths. Thats were it all came from and we should be thankfull for it while dancing in the club.
- When it comes to live perfomance, is realistically Electronika a genre that can be performed live?
For sure. The quality of the performance will depend on the equipment you have but even more on the skills you have.
- Which is your favourite Electronic album of all time?
Machinedrums – Human Energy (2016) Sick album! I can listen this on repeat
- What would be your dream performance venue/club?
I honestly do not plan to perform. I would rather spend my time making new beats. But if you ask me that way i would say in a huge church with special room acoustics.
- One last thing we should know about you?
