What is your version of hell? It is different for everyone I guess. But we all have one. The Colorado band Animal Future is putting their hell on display with their new track. Right from the beginning, the groove is soaked in atmosphere, heavy on the compressed drums and the saturated driving bassline. The guitar work sits comfortably wide across the stereo field, layered with enough fine detail to pull you deep into the track’s mood. Still, the real focus here is the vocal performance with a notable dynamic range, packed with skilled glides and genuine technical control.
You might not even notice it happening on a first listen, but the track spends a full three minutes building up tension. Then, the last thirty seconds hit: the power practically doubles, the groove switches, and the energy just unloads, flattening anything lucky (or unlucky) enough to be caught in its path.
