Tell us a few things about your new song like you’re god. What is the main idea behind it?
i haven’t thought of the song in the form of ideas… the song just happened, it came from a place outside and from within me. it’s meeting desire and the etheal. silence and movement. the idea is whatever you want it to be
The vocal riff in like you’re god is really addictive. Tell us a vocal melody you wish you had composed yourself.
lithium by nirvana is one of my favorite melodies of all time.
Do you like the idea of collaborating? Is songwriting a lonely process?
I’m open to the idea of collaborating as well as never collaborating in my career.
it depends on where the song is asking you to go. sometimes the places are lovely, immaculate, and inspiring. other times they are unwelcoming, dark, and yes lonely.
Who is the most amazing Falsetto Vocalist?
it’s hard to say just one… but for now, i’ll say prince
If like you’re god was a movie, which movie would that be?
I think a pretty close idea would be if Herb Ritts directed Eyes wide shut
What advice would you give to your younger self?
give yourself time to learn things and get better every day. even if it’s just for 5 minutes. start learning new languages, play different instruments, be uncomfortable, get in the habit of growing. you don’t have as much time as you think.
Your biggest fear?
What I do with my life, exposing my emotions, feelings, and thoughts. It’s very scary for me. that’s why i have to do it.
