Rum Buffalo – Slumtown Nightmare [Review]

Raise your hand if the riff from Rum Buffalo’s latest track Slumtown Nightmare is the kind of riff you wish you had composed yourself. The song has a raw sound, almost noisy. Playful, driven by the riff that plays constantly for the full four minutes the song’s development keeps the listener engaged till the end. You can hear vocal chants following the melody. A half beat change in the groove.Over processed vocals to fit the warm saturated sound.

I bet you are already shaking your head. Well done. You are a boy/girl with simple tastes. Life’s too short to pretend you don’t like this riff.
