In the track “It Moves,” Tiny Little Ghost (Vanni Casagrande) opens with a more than a minute long, beatless intro which lets the atmosphere breathe, building its climax toward the wavy beat that takes over. And while the midrange wobbles hints at dubstep, its soft edges favor a hypnotic flow over pure grit. This isn’t just a dance track though, as the detuned synth keys deliver some hauntingly dreamy melodic layers throughout, pushing the composition into cinematic territory, a place where a single synth chord can say a thousand words.
