Blood Moon Commune – Hex [Review]

Blood Moon Commune keeps the mystery alive, existing as an anonymous collective. According to their socials, It’s not known how many people make up the commune. This sense of enigma carries over into Hex, which is part of their Double A-side debut. The track builds on a technically perfect rhythm section, featuring a bass guitar beautifully repetitive and hypnotic and a drum section which sounds as tight as it gets.

Over this, the electric guitar acts as the melodic guide, heavy on creative effects and psychedelic undertones. Enriched by eerie, atmospheric vocal layers, this trippy production is a compelling first statement from the collective, makes you wonder what comes next.
