Astro Brat’s latest single, “White Lies,” delivers exactly what it says in the tin. With a riff-centric structure, the bass guitar is on the point, demonstrating a very interesting tonal control, constantly shifting throughout the track, moving from dark, heavy clarity to a fuzzy, aggressive saturation, yet always remaining cosmic and spacey. A variety which feels almost necessary for a duo producing an instrumental track that wants to engage the listener, and Astro Brat proves exceptionally adept at it. You know that we never lie. And if we do, our intentions are good.
