Steven Bamidele – Exoskeleton [Review]

Steven Bamidele’s latest work “Exoskeleton” is marked by the artist’s smooth and clear vocal delivery, beautifully complemented by polished backing vocals. While the groove maintains a simple yet effective energy with its high BPM, it interestingly contrasts the overall hazy atmosphere of the song, particularly created by the laid-back guitars which draw the listener into a dreamlike space. The songwriting itself feels genuinely sweet.

It’s that dizzying feeling of falling hard for someone new. The song shows how two people, who might have felt a bit like outsiders, let their walls down with each other. They connect over that shared feeling of being alone. But the song also gently hints that maybe this intense connection isn’t entirely good for them, like it blossomed because they were both just really craving someone to notice them.
