That overwhelming memory, a bittersweet ache for a time long past – that’s the precise feeling that washes over you as William Black and Freja The Dragon’s “Waiting On This Day Forever” begins to play. If that nostalgic flood was a song, this would be it.
Black’s signature powerful, festival-ready future bass drops are undeniably present, yet, what truly elevates this collaboration is the beautiful antithesis created by Freja The Dragon’s dreamy, soft vocals which they drift through the track like a comforting memory.
The organic keys in the intro add a layer of warmth and intimacy and the final result is nothing short of euphoric. You can almost picture it: a sea of faces bathed in the glow of stage lights, bodies moving in slow-motion unison as the chorus drops with full force. Waiting On This Day Forever.
