From the moment the first fuzzy, saturated notes of the rhythm section wash over you, it’s clear this is a band that understands the genre’s core tenets. Enriched by lush, layered backing vocals the verses have this sweet, almost hypnotic monotony, perfect for losing yourself in. The dynamic shift in the chorus though injects a welcome dose of urgency, that wakes you right up.
It is a trip. But this time you have to choose the destination. It can be anywhere. Even the sun. Pure neopsychedelic bliss.
