Describe your sound in 3 words
Psychedelic. Soul. Groove.
Tell us a few things about A Little Relief. What is the main idea behind it?
This song was written last winter and is about wanting exactly that, a little relief.
How did you approach capturing the excitement of going away in the music itself?
We have tried to bring out that excitement with the choppy guitar. We think the trumpet and percussion are exciting performances too.
Your most honest and personal lyric?
I wouldn’t say that any lyrics is any more or less honest/personal than the rest.
Artists and people that have influenced you?
D’Angelo. Most disco music. Allah Las. Tame Impala. Jose Mujica.
If the music of Beach For Tiger was a film, which film would that be?
You and the Night. The 2013 movie with Eric Cantona in.
Do you have an artist that you would describe as a hidden gem that we should know about?
The Groovy Nobody.
What’s next for you?
We have another single coming out on October 25th, a collab with our friends, Rooskin. This one’s called, “Searchin’ For A Reason”.
We also have a show at The Bath House, London on October 31st. Then we play in Vienna on November 9th with Lounge Orange.
Thank you!
