The artist boldly pushes the saturation effects to their limits, showcasing a songwriting approach that emphasises the production aspect. While there are some brief melodic parts interspersed throughout, the album’s primary focus is on delivering a heavy and dystopic atmosphere.
The energetic dark beats give rise to industrial patterns, resulting in a highly cinematic sound. The arrangements exude an experimental tone while the seamless flow from one track to another creates a cohesive 15-minute listening journey that could work nicely as a videogame soundtrack.
Our personal favorite, “Denihilism,” stands out with its tempo switches, providing a glimpse of the potential future direction of electronic trap music. However, it’s essential to appreciate this piece of art as a whole, listening from start to finish.
