Los Angeles based songwriter, Steven Colyer, is showcasing the outro song of the album LONESTARDOM; a dusty, downtempo lofi rock piece that shares notes full of honesty and unexpected intimacy.
Moody vocals and earthy guitars meet blue-sky synths, wrapped in a mysterious, otherworldly soundscape. Lyrically the song touches on the familiar to -almost everyone- feeling of distressing pain that comes after a heartbreak, the grief and the gradual process of acceptance and moving forward. A mesmerising work, best enjoyed in the state of intermediate consciousness preceding sleep.
